Merry Christmas!
We hope that each of you had a wonderful Christmas as we reflect on the birth of our Savior and remember that He is Immanuel, God with us.  This year brings us new insights into the mystery of the incarnation as we ponder Jesus coming in human flesh and as we think of His humble birth.  Christmas songs like "What Child is This," "Mary Did You Know," and "Babe in the Straw" all have new perspectives for us as we celebrate this special season with the precious gift God has given us in little Grady Jeremiah.  The past three days have been special days for us with family, seeing snow in Birmingham on Christmas Day, and spending lots of time holding our son.  It has been a great Christmas and we have so much for which we are thankful as God has poured our His blessing on us, giving to us life, salvation, wonderful families, our precious son, and so much more.

Grady Jeremiah is doing great!   He is up to 3 pounds 11.6 ounces and still growing.  His breathing is doing really well today.  He really enjoyed being held by both Mom and Dad today.  He even got to learn of the Christmas story in an interactive way.  Take a look at the picture above to see how :-)

Thank you for your continued prayers for us even in the midst of the busyness of the holiday season.
